The situation is critical – we saw similar situation to this change in Brazil as we called the nation to pray.

The Trumpet is Sounding!….A Cry for EGYPT…
“The work is great and extensive, and we are separated far from one another on the wall.  Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there.  Our God will fight for us!”
Nehemiah 4:19-20

As times intensify, it is becoming increasingly vital to be connected and building relational strength in and between regions.  As relationships build, it is amazing how God changes our hearts and suddenly the depths of our prayers take on a whole new level of concern and love for fellow brothers and sisters in crisis.

Below are heart cries from Egypt we pray will stir your hearts and assist in our prayers as Egypt’s crises intensifies.

Egypt: Two letters from key leaders in Egypt today. 14 August 2013 1)

Dear Friends,

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! As I write these words, our St. Saviour’s Anglican Church in Suez is under heavy attack from those who support former President Mursi.  They are throwing stones and Molotov cocktails at the church and have destroyed the car of Rev. Ehab Ayoub, the priest-in-charge of St. Saviour?s Church.  I am also aware that there are attacks on other Orthodox churches in Menyia and Suhag in Upper Egypt (see attached photo), as well as a Catholic church in Suez.  Some police stations are also under attack in different parts of Egypt.  Please pray and ask others to pray for this inflammable situation in Egypt.

Early this morning, the police supported by the army, encouraged protestors in two different locations in Cairo, to leave safely and go home.  It is worth mentioning that these protestors have been protesting for 6 weeks, blocking the roads. The people in these neighborhoods have been suffering a great deal?not only these people, but those commuting through, especially those who are going to the airport.  The police created very safe passages for everyone to leave.  Many protestors left and went home, however, others resisted to leave and started to attack the police.  The police and army were very professional in responding to the attacks, and they used tear gas only when it was necessary.  The police then discovered caches of weapons and ammunition in these sites.  One area near Giza is now calm, but there is still some resistance at other sites.  There are even some snipers trying to attack the police and the army.  There are even some rumors that Muslim Brotherhood leaders asked the protestors in different cities to attack police stations, take weapons, and attack shops and churches.

A few hours later, violent demonstrations from Mursi supporters broke out in different cities and towns throughout Egypt.  The police and army are trying to maintain safety for all people and to disperse the protestors peacefully.  However, the supporters of former President Mursi have threatened that if they are dispersed from the current sites, they will move to other sites and continue to protest.   They also threatened to use violence.  There have been a number of fatalities and casualties from among the police as well as the protestors, but it seems that the numbers are not as high as expected for such violence.  However, the supporters of former President Mursi claim that there are very high numbers of casualties.  The real numbers will be known later on.

Please pray that the situation will calm down, for wisdom and tact for the police and the army, for the safety of all churches and congregations, and that all in Egypt would be safe.

May the Lord bless you!
Dr. MA

Dear Friends,

We believe you are following the news. Today, Wednesday, early in the morning, the process of dispersing protests started. Many have been killed & injured. Now, street wars are running in many places in the country, not only in Cairo. Cutting the roads (within the cities & between cities), burning many churches, random shooting, burning cars, fires in many places, burning metro (subway) stations, burning shops (especially of christians), clashes in many places (one of them is relatively close to where we live).  The spirit of pharaoh doesn’t surrender easily, yet the Mighty One has His Plan for Egypt & from Egypt to the rest of the world. The world is shaking, and will be shaken more & more in the days ahead. Shaking in Egypt will have a great effect & influence world wide.

It’s time for prophetic intercession. It’s time to speak God’s decrees over Egypt. It’s time to speak protection over the body of Christ in Egypt.

Egypt is a prototype.

Prayer focus

  • Is. 19:1-2 “Behold, the Lord rides on a swift cloud, and will come into Egypt; the idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, and the heart of Egypt will totter at His Presence, and the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst.  I will set Egyptians against Egyptians; everyone will fight against his brother, and everyone against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom.
  • Is. 19:19-22  “In that day, there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord at its border.  And it will be a sign and for a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will send them a Savior and a Mighty One, and He will deliver them.  Then the Lord will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day, and will make sacrifice and offering; yes, they will make a vow to the Lord and perform it.  And the Lord will strike Egypt, He will strike and heal it; they will return to the Lord, and He will be entreated by them and heal them.”

Food for thought:  Scripturally, Egypt has a redemptive gift for refuge/deliverance <https://go.netatlantic.com/t/26894905/219602027/317578/72/> (housed and protected Abraham, Moses, and Jesus in his early years) and ruler <https://go.netatlantic.com/t/26894905/219602027/317579/73/> .  Scriptures promise Egypt’s destiny, “And they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.”  See also Isaiah 19:21-25; Isaiah 11:9-16

Please pray for revelation for the need to connect in these difficult and challenging times.  As times intensify, it is vitally important for relationships and connections in and between houses of prayer/prayer groups to grow, bridge, and build the nations in prayer for Kingdom advance…a bridal call to the body of Christ!
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one.”  Jesus (John 17:20-22)

Trumpet Call to the Nations Statement of Purpose:  Build and connect houses of prayer through relationship to nurture a movement… “Trumpet Call to the Nations” is the Transform World Celebration Challenge focus on building and connecting houses of prayer.  It is about nurturing and strengthening a movement, not interfering with already formed networks or churches, but rather building bridges and foundations of relational strength in and between established houses of prayer/interested churches/networks and helping assist new houses of prayer where they presently do not exist.  We believe this is a movement that God is birthing that is truly a bridal call to “prepare the way.”  May it strengthen and encourage all involved.  Focus scriptures:  Amos 9:11On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, and repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old.”  Nehemiah 4:19-20The work is great and extensive, and we are separated far from one another on the wall.  Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.Core Values:

  • Encourage a lifestyle of personal and corporate intimacy with God
  • Build through relationships
  • Honor Israel and Isaiah 19 vision
